Just heard this song and I really like the snappy Tele tone.

Looks like he’s straight into an amp... What amp is that?

That's a pretty incredible video all around. I agree the Tele is just a joy to hear.

Looks like a Fender amp from the tolex but a better question is why are the logos covered up on the guitars?
Ashamed of playing Squiers, or custom made with a stolen headstock shape...?

Idk that it matters but it's curious. Otherwise, nice tune, great sounding Tele and well played.

Not sure but sometimes pro's will cover up logos on their instruments/tools/camera's etc. because they don't want to give free endorsements to a company that could pay them a fee for endorsing their product. I've never seen it on guitars but used to see it all the time on cameras that show up in print, media, TV, etc.

I put a piece of duct tape over the logo on my golf cap, if them cheapskates at Titleist won't furnish me free golf clubs, I ain't doing no advertising for 'em.

If the Hat was Free, you should wear that Logo with Pride.

If they Made you Pay for It, yeah, keep it covered!

I'll bet they don't charge Justin Thomas for his hats or clubs. I tried on my hat at the golf course, and they hollered touch move TD that'll be twenty five BUCKS! I can just see if old JT did the same thing, they'd have said, just go on take it JT, want anything else? I'm gonna get a Taylormade sticker and put on my hat! Wonder what Charles Barkley would do?

Charles Barkley would head to the Clubhouse for a Burger and a large plate of Fries. :)

They have really good burgers at the River. Excellent suggestion.

I thought this was going to be about Ween's tune Push the Little Daisies.

That makes sense. In this new age of "influencers" I forget what it takes to be successful in a novel market area. Hope they will do well.
And thanks for the schooling. You're never too old

Have a look at 2:44. See two rows of controls and the light on the right-hand side of the amp? My bet is that this amp is a Mesa.

A few pals and I played this tune at a jam a few years back (I used a pitch pedal for the chipmunk vocal sound) and the crowd in the room thought we had lost our minds. Not many people know this stuff.

Your next mission, if you choose to accept it, is to learn and publicly perform Blind Melon's No Rain. :D

I sang and played that at an acoustic jam about a year ago. Not easy to sing and play that repeating lick for a hack like myself.
