Just bought this exact guitar after seeing them for the first time online yesterday . Walked into my local GC and they happened to one which they had just got afew days before .So here's my take for anyone still interested in one . First of all the color is not as dark in person as it is on the website photos. It's not even as dark as it appears on my pics here .So if you don't think the color is dark enough in pics you probably won't like it in person. I do still like the color though personally . Not really lightweight, about the same as an American standard I have . So not heavy by any means. Butit feels really well balanced when on a strap. It is super resonant and I actually like the bridge pickup a little bit better than I like the fralin in my other tele.

I bought a metallic purple Jeff Beck signature strat a while back. Sold it to a guy that couldn't live without it for a bit more than I paid for it. That purple, was beautiful.

I edited this picture to be closer to what I see in real life. My phone camera tends to darken and oversaturate everything . 20190207_094057.jpg

I was about to bite- but I like small vintage frets. These look like railroad tracks.

Nice job billy. I'm curious to know more details. Do you have any close up pics of the body?

Thanks for the pics. The stock photos of that guitar do not show the real color and show none of the details. I think it's a great looking guitar.

I just noticed that Fender raised the prices on the Purple ones to $1099. That's over a 20% price hike. More if you consider they were selling them at $799 just a few months ago.

yeah,,if it was that color,i would have bought it months ago..
i'm thinking this might a good guitar to refinish to one's preferred color if you don't like the purple or get tired of it eventually ,i'm wondering now what the neck feels like,i've been gravitating back to skinny necks anymore
