Trying out a '59 LP Jr reissue at GC the other day this tune came on:

Sounds kinda like this, released two months later. Same acid?

Two more from one the finest live albums in the rock genre ever recorded. Psychedelic?, well, psychedelics were involved by all parties :) At a Grateful Dead show, you could always tighten your headband during Jerry's guitar solo for an extra rush, with Hawkwind, the whole show was a rush, and this was the finest lineup. Lord Lemmy pounding the jonkers out of that bass, driving it along. Playing along to this as a teen formed a huge part of my bass learning curve.

Best played loud. When you play Hawkwind, your neighbours should be allowed to appreciate it too.

After viewing this thread, maybe it’s time that I checked into some therapy… or maybe go into rehab? Nahh.

All great stuff and a large part of life’s soundtrack... nodding especially towards the Zabriskie Point offering (and 60's stuff).

I’ll offer this as a possibility, depending upon whatever chemical concoction one might have had (or has) in one’s system…

Careful with that axe, Eugene! Indeed.
