Plus it smells great, why wouldn't you???

What is your brand? What SPF? I just go with the highest number on hand.

I also have a face lotion that has sunblock in it.

Yep, have Banana Boat in the Jeep, in my backpack, in the house and just about anywhere I could keep it. Good stuff and I use it frequently. I imagine the SPF is about 40-60 on mine. Even as milky as I look I get brown if I stay out a few days.

That particular sunscreen has Oxybenzone, which my dermatologist recommends against. She recommended this one, and I like it. It works well, it's not greasy, and doesn't make my skin crawl.

I just buy the cheap stuff. And stay indoors if I can. It's likely air conditioned indoors.

I work outside a lot and started using those stretchy UV-protection "sleeves." I've come to like them.

I use fishing shirts.

If I used the tube stuff, in about 5 minutes that crap will be in my mouth, in my eyes, up my nose, in my ears, all over my clothes, all over my car.

And then I have to repeat 4 hours later

And it’s like $27 for 3 ounces.

Counter PSA: Sunblock is bad for guitar finishes. Presumably not an issue with poly, but for your good acoustic, play in the shade.

For most outside stuff, I just wear a hat and long sleeve shirt. But in the water I wear a long sleeve rashguard and use sunscreen on my face, neck, and ears. I may get a hooded rashy someday, but the good ones of those are about $90 and I’m a cheapskate.

Luckily my over-the-counter benefits to my insurance covers all the sunscreen I’ll ever need. I prefer the mineral type, typically neutrogena stuff that is like a stick of deodorant. It just stays on better when I’m getting beaten around in the surf.

But I keep some chemical around for the days when I don’t want look like a ghost, which is a side effect of the mineral type. For chemical, I use a neutrogena sport face type that is 70 spf.
