...at GC Pick of da Day. I'd go for one, but have to cool my jets until next month. Love the red sparkle.

Got one a year ago for $129. Great value. Lots of guitar for the money.

I got one the other day and am really liking it.

    I haven't had a Telecaster for a while, and I'm a sucker for sparkles.

I've flipped the controls, have a brand new bwb pickguard to go on. Angled switch plate and electrosocket jack are on the way.

The neck pickup cover is coming off when the pickguard is changed.

I'll put up some pics when done.

    Sparkly!

I could see upgrading pots, switch, pickups, but I have projects that need attention more than this.

This was $149 not $129, but still a great price for a fun finish on a decent guitar.

I think the changes I'm making will be good for a while.

I've changed my mind about taking the cover off.

But looking through my stuff, theres a new crl 5 way switch, some new cts 250k pots, so I'm going to go ahead and change the pots and add settings for half out of phase and neck bass cut.

When the angled switch control plate arrives, I'll just make up the new plate and swap them.

Picked one of these babies up two weeks ago. LOVE IT! I've had a love affair with Teles for a while and even had a couple americans. But this guitar would give them a run for their money. Honestly, I feel like I've woke up in some alternate reality where Squire Bullet became a decent line, though? Then again, I've felt that way since I started looking at the prices of USED MIM Fenders... I know I've been out of the game for a couple years, but what happened to the prices?? When did a 10+ year old standard MIM become a $400 guitar? I used to se them all the time for $200... Same with Squires. Saw one on FB marketplace the other day (basic Squire, nothing special like MIJ or old) for $350. O_O
