This is a just a PSA to maybe keep some of these out of landfills.
I just bought this Danelectro French Toast pedal over the interwebs and was disappointed to find it extremely noisy, I tried a few different power supplies to no avail and chalked it up to crappy pedal construction. Then the output jack connection started to fail, and I had to do cable yoga to get it to connect.
It took me a while to see it, but one of the jack feet solder joints had broken away from the PCB. I can't reconnect it, so I just soldered in a small bit of wire between the jack and next component the trace lead to. Took a few minutes and the pedal now works and is quiet, hurray. It's a cool fuzz, It would be nice if they had made these things just a little more durable
