Good ad...rare and valuable amp...minimal info...just enough to spark interest from the correct prospect.
I've always thought that if you bought a vintage era amp that you have to live in a large enough community with really experienced amp techs. That would be a nice one to have.
Ime, anyone who is seriously interested in such an amp already has a tech that does their work or they do their own tech work. Anywhere in Florida is close to a tech from my perspective?
I wonder how much they want for that?
An acquaintance of mine has 2... maybe 3 of those. He's had his issues over the years, drugs etc. Somehow he's held on to the VV's. He was really into SRV many years ago so ended up with those amps.
I remember when they were $2400 or so on Ebay. Heck a DR is that much now.
