I suppose they can't put the birds on a maple fretboard? Probably couldn't see the fret markers.

PRS does various bird inlays on maple boards on a bunch of models. Here are 'outline' birds on my PRS L1:

Myles is the singer for Alter Bridge, which features Mark Tremonte, who has signature PRS guitars on about every level. Myles plays rhythm guitar and uses PRS guitars.

And, of coarse, he sings for Slash and the Conspirators.

I've never had any issues with tuning stability on a Tele, or any other guitar for that matter. 3+3 looks goofy on a T-style guitar to me, strictly cosmetic. Just don't like it.
Yeah the idea that a T or S needs 6 tuners in a row is pretty well engrained in our aesthetic expectations. For that reason I had trouble looking at the Silver Sky before I got my own PRS and came to understand how well that headstock is designed. Now I appreciate that Paul stuck to it on his S-style.

A PRS Tele is something of a dream guitar for me. I've said more than once that if I were to build a custom/partscaster guitar, I'd want a PRS neck on a tele body.

Why is this joke still funny? The only major brands that DONT make a tele are PRS and Gibson.

I think it shows the respect y'all have for PRS that when Schecter or Yamaha or Ibanez or Grosh or Suhr or.....well, everybody makes a tele - who cares? PRS making one gets everyone riled up. So weird.

Hey did you know they make an ok Lester knockoff as well? They call it the Singlecut. Hah that'll never catch on!
