I posted a picture of B. Sanders playing a Zither in Central Park over on TGP once. No political comment with it at all. Got banned for a week. Haven't been back.:twisted::cool:

I asked a mod about my protest song before I posted it. The reply amounted to "if you have to ask then it probably isn't appropriate." But he also said I could try posting it and see how it goes. (It was not this forum)

Songs are often complex expressions containing ideas about real life. They are often written for adults who can discuss adult things, and often require nuance and intelligence from the writer and the audience.

I think the tdpri is not a good place for songs.

About posting a political protest song lyric. Question is: May I / Should I do so here?

Based on the forum qualification "IMPORTANT: Treat everyone here with respect, no matter how difficult! No sex, drug, political, religion or hate discussion permitted here."

Thought I'd ask first...
Political songs (for me) are really difficult to pull off w/o sounding preachy. Nuance and metaphors are your friends. Lol.
