Slippery Jack
Tele-Meister
With our first gig since Mar 20 coming up, I thought that I'd check out my suit jacket. We play wearing suits and hats, you see. Unfortunately, my suit jacket appeared to have become 'distressed'. I remember it being in a bit of a state last time out and thinking that the sweat will rinse it out. However, this appeared to not be the case. It was decidedly sticky to the touch, and all round less than the quality our audience deserve.
I hung it up in the garden and hosed it down. Being the cheap nylon suit that it is, it dripped dry in just a couple of hours and is raring to go and surely has another ten years left in it. It still smells a bit funky janky, but then so do I.
As they say, fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
