Problem with DPDT Out of phase switch Mod

Firstly - very many thanks to Peego for some great advice

My 'no sound' when middle pickups were in series (S1 switch down) was traced back to the new P90 neck pickup braided cable shorting as when it was screwed into place the braid was coming into contact with the P90 baseplate.

I love the idea of the s1 pot, but they are not very reliable, especially for the cost. I can solder very well. They just fail in my book. Concept is cool, but they... Just give me something more reliable.

Well, you can get a 4pdt mini toggle at Mouser.com, I'm sure. But nothing else comes close to the s1 functionality, which is why they persist despite their failings. And the push-push is seductive if you don't like push pulls.
