I recently got a Tone Master Twin Reverb, so I'm selling my PRRI and DRRI. I got this response on the PRRI this morning, I'm going to buy ALL of them!!!

Guitar center and other stores have this amp for $249.99

Ive owned this amp in the past and hated it.

Tinny sound, no deep throw, junk.

    ?

    Go twin reverb.

I have a '77 SFPR I bought in a pawn shop for $250.00 in 2004. It was a little beat up and needed some work like a grounded plug and some new tubes. Still a great buy. The only great deal I've ever gotten at a pawn shop. You never know what you'll find.

I'd say the Princeton Reverb is my favorite amp, a Vox Ac-15 is runner up. Just my taste, that's all.

If you can get a PRRI at Guitar Center for $250 buy it and then list it on Reverb for $750. Win!

Like the difference between a 65 Princeton and a Princeton 65

Yes, they are! It was a tough decision, just bc I'm a blackface snob. But it's sooooo convincing, it only made sense. It's lighter than my PRRI too.

Well, my Princeton Reverb cost $250, but it’s only one of those crappy PRII amps. And it was 1984.

I’ve been sayin’ for years, the problem with the Princeton Reverb is no deep throw. Tinny sound, too.

That’s OK, it really wasn’t a very good movie.
