This was sent to me. I never seen, he definitely didn't go for the straight cover. I like it!

This guy's instincts were incredible. Just amazing how smoothly he jumps in and out of different genres while adding in his own special juice to make it uniquely his own.

It sounded a little more worked out than a noodle. At least more than mine.

One of my biggest regrets is never seeing that dude live in person. At least there are some incredible videos out there...

Hopefully this video puts the 'Led Zeppelin were rip off merchants' conversations to bed.

I saw his purple badness twice. 84 and 89.

The crazy thing is, if you lived in the Twin Cities, he had these Saturday Night dance parties at Paisley Park that anyone could go to and anything could happen.

It might just be a dj spinning tunes, it might be Prince spinning tunes and it could be a two hour + show of Prince and whatever amazing band he had at the time playing who knows what.

Also, I’d been subconsciously aware of it for 30 years without putting the thought into words but now I’m going on the record and saying Prince is one of the baddest wah wah players on the planet.
