I have a 1974 natural finish maple neck Tele I am selling for a friend of mine. Originally when I researched it it looked like going rates were around $2200. I just looked on Ebay and most of the asking price for similar guitars was $4-5k. There were no sold guitars to check if this was accurate. So, I'm not sure what to ask for this thing. It's all original except that the volume pot has been replaced and it looks like it has a treble bleed cap. The switch is little wonky, it sticks sometimes. It has the original case, and has had a good professional setup.

Any advice on pricing this thing?

Post some pictures here and you will get lots of advice- I agree that ballpark high is $3000, realistic selling price is probably $2000-$2400 but of course condition is key

Someone will tell you if I'm wrong but I thought the 6 saddle bridge was on the Telecaster custom model. Should that have a 3 saddle. I don't remember. Just a thought. Nice !

by that year Fender offered the 6 saddle as an OEM upgrade.
