Price of new guitars are actually less expensive than they were back in the day

    Tone is very hard to read on an internet forum and because you automatically assumed that my tone was negative I treated you with contempt. If you assume negativity it will eventually occur. Try to be positive. :D

    New guitars have much better fit & finish than the older ones, but the older ones from guitar's heyday just sound & play SO much better than new guitars.
    So in that respect, guitars from the 50s & 60s gave you way more for your money.
