Did any other tdpri-er manage to snag one? I bought one several years ago and was disappointed- a hand full of useless picks, some other junk, and (I think) a subscription. Being a slow learner I thought I’d try again this year. Hoping for a guitar, expecting more picks...

    (1) They sell out too fast with too small supply. I don't bother trying anymore

    (2) $40 for some guitar trinkets I most likely won't use isn't a good deal.

    (3) I'd rather spend $40 on yet another cheap Chinese pedal.

This is my third year. The last 2 years they were only $30.00. I pretty much got my moneys worth. a few sets of strings, a guitar strap, lot's of picks cables, hat, t-shirt. Some things I may have purchased on my own but some I may not have. I didn't realize that it went up to $40 until I got on the page but I bit the bullet anyway. Maybe the 3rd times the charm. I'll post what I receive.

369B0CA9-864F-47EC-B7EB-2B50A0E35A4C.jpeg It arrived, and... eh. Two packs of usable coated strings (.012s), a strap, a tuner, four picks, and some garbage. Yes, it’s worth more than $39. Can’t really complain. Will I bite again next year? Probably.

    That’s exactly what I received.

First time I’ve done it, and snagged a Boss SD-1. No complaints here.
