Was looking for a Tele with a different tone from my Road Worn 50's and my Squier Cabronita for songwriting and recording and was thinking hard about a P90 but BOOM here comes a thinline with Jazzmaster pickups that ought to inspire me! They predict 6/22 shipping date

And if the Jazzmaster pickups end up not tickling the right buttons, GFS has the JM90. It's a P-90 in a Jazzmaster form factor. I'm sure other companies make them too.

@SonicMustang just showed up on the GC and Sweetwater websites today for pre-order!
@tdoty thats good to know! I'm hoping the Jazzmasters do the trick so I can buy something with P90's too!

Very nice. I love the Cabronita style Teles. Giving me ideas, cos I’d really love to have a P90 Tele in my growing collection.

If those JM pickups are what’s in the CV, they’re not bad at all. Comparable to my PV ‘65 pickups in another Jazzmaster I have.

I just got my first P90 guitar back in March and now I'm wondering if anyone is making replacements for the new style P90 "soapbars" Gibson is using in the Junior and Special Tributes

I like the idea of the Cyclone, especially since it's 24.75" scale, and not 24", and has Strat pickups and bridge on a Mustang body.

It's cool and a great idea. I have jazzmaster wind, Alnico P90s in a MJT P90 thinline build that I absolutely adore. I wired it 250k pots which makes them more like fat strat pickups. The only problem I have with it is the Jazzmasters are damn noisy. Like P90s.

This guitar is a winner at this price point. Poly finish, cheap hardware, skinny C, and all.

It certainly is, definitely a lot cheaper than the MIJ version, and I don't want to spend a fortune.
