I have a power supply for an electro-harmonix (Oceans 11) pedal that I don’t use as the Oceans 11 that it came with is on my board and powered by a voodoo lab pp 2+.

I was wondering whether I can use the power supply to power an eq pedal (Caline 10 band EQ) that I’m using in the fx loop (as when the batteries on the eq pedal die, it gives out a horrible squeal, so it needs a dedicated power supply). Seems pointless to buy another power supply if I already have this one sitting in the box.

I know next to nothing about electronics and current draw, etc. so any advice would be great. Is it safe to use this power supply with the eq pedal?

Provided they’re the same voltage and have the same
    Ground polarity it’ll work beautifully.

As long as the required draw(mA) is less than the power supplied(200 mA) 200 is enough for most pedals and solo effects boxes. Should be fine.
