hey All,

I'm thinking about buying a looper pedal and looking at the TC Ditto as it seems to get great reviews all around. For those that have the Ditto, it does not take a 9V battery, correct? The power supply cable that sweetwater recommended for it is $21 which seems excessive. I've seen cheaper cables on amazon, but then got to wondering if there is a better solution. The only other pedal I have is a Boss DS1, and I only play at home (still very much a beginner) so I don't really need a fancy pedal board, but are those splitter power cords worth it or do they just make things more complicated?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the TC Wiretap Riff Recorder? Seems like it can also be used as a regular looper but is $20 cheaper?

Be aware the there is now a Ditto+

Original Ditto does a 5 minute loop. Ditto+ does 60 minutes and also can store 99 separate loops.

Ditto+ new is twice the price of Ditto, but you can pick up a 2nd hand Ditto REALLY cheap!
