Anybody knows what pots & cap value Fender is using i8n this awesoem guitar

It's interesting because of the trickery involving humbucker + single coil

Are we talking 250K or 500K pots? what about the cap value? 0.022 or 0.047??

Please elaborate if you could?

Well as it can seem like you can't win, as a 250K volume pot may make the hb to dark, and a 500K give too harsh/shrill a bridge pickup, Fender goes with 500's (audio) and puts a resistor on the bridge pickup.

Fender wires a HOT Tele like this:

Nice pickup options too (more than Albert's) with spiting the hb. You'll need a super switch.

But a three way could be wired the same (500k) as any standard Tele three way and still install the resistor on the bridge ground lead.

Thank you SJ, I am aware of this wiring that I implemented on my Tele - it just did not work.

For some reason, I suspect Fender (for teh AC signature model) went with the normal wiring, & privileged the bridge pickup. The compromise could not work with Collins, AFAIK...

Albert Collins roadie & stage helper during the last 15 years of his life, the guy who handed him his guitar - stated that the pickup selector on Albert Collins guitar could've as well been super-glued on the bridge position. Albert NEVER EVER used any other pickup or combination.

So: I am tempted to go 250/0.022 - & ditch that resistor stuff

Consider just leaving the HB on volume pot and switch only leaving
the bridge on tone pot and cap by itself.
Aside from that just try it with the 250K volume pot maybe even no load 250k
and if not good go 500k or split the difference to ~375k range.

You were complaining about the bridge not being bright, and sounding dull. Ditch the resistor. A 250k pot will only make it more dull. You could try a TBX for a tone control, that can cut bass and brighten it up a lot. I have one on my affinity along with a 500k vol pot and it's great.http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/The_Fender_TBX_Tone_Control_Part_1
