Wikipedia says the Giants have 8.

They also have 23 NL Championships vs 21.

Sadly, 5 of the 6 Dodger WS Championships came in LA. The Giants only 3 of their 8 in SF. I s'pose that counts for something.

Maybe wiki isn't giving the Giants credit for this most recent one, and instead awarded it to the North Carolina Bumgarners?

No, you're thinking of the Puerto Cabello Pandavals from back in 2012.

    Lol no kidding.

    Or the Ft. Worth Pences.

Teamwork got the Giants that trophy, but any of these guys deserved MVP.

Another Giants statistic, they have the most members in the Hall Of Fame, with 66. That's 12 more than the Dodgers and 14 more than the Yankees.

The Giants did exhibit great teamwork, and several individual performances deserve praise. But Bumgarner is the MVP, and it's not even close. Anyone else getting it would've been an absolute joke.

No argument from me. Although in any other year, setting a new MLB record for hits in a single postseason would probably earn one an mvp.

This is going to be a pretty interesting offseason. I sure hope Pagan gets fully healed and is able to play at his old levels. Watching Freddie Sanchez and Scutaro not be able to recover and have to end their careers has been such a downer.
