    Give us your:

    1) Winner, and in how many games

    2) MVP

I say the clock finally strikes midnight for the lovable Royals. SF is just too seasoned, they've been here time and time again. I'm going with the Giants in 6.

Pablo Sandoval to win the MVP.

Wow, 12 hours and no ones bitten yet....

This is going to be a great Series. I'm a Giants fan, so nuff said I guess.

Bumgarner on the road is a plus. Can they steal repeatedly on Posey? Panda hit 3 HRs off 2 different pitchers (2 off Verlander) in game 1 in 2012. What will he do today? Pences swing is coming back....

E...I admitted I really don't know jack about baseball these days...but I do see certain matchups in MLB and NFL that just defy explanation. I wonder what will make this series different than the games these two teams played in Aug?

Gigantes in 6. Why? Mainly because that's the way I want it to go. If momentum means anything, KC's got it. If playoff experience means anything, SF's got that. I think Bumgarner breaks the consecutive-games streak and the tide shifts but honestly, who knows? I hope for a long, entertaining, competitive series.

Giants are a much different team in the postseason.

Also when they played KC in the regular season, they were slumping due to cold bats and injuries.

Playing both sides, it's possible that KC is also a better team that when they played the Giants in the regular season as well.

In this case, I'm not sure how much momentum or experience will play out. I think whoever plays their brand of baseball better will emerge.

Both clubs play similar brands of ball, so whoever makes less mistakes is probably going to be a big indicator for this matchup,

baseball really needs this series to go 7 games. The Fox FS1 experiment has been great for Fox and not great for baseball....

I think the series will go 5 games.
I am going to gamble and say that the series will be remarkably NOT close.

The MVP will NOT be Moustakous (although I dig him)

I'd really like to see the royals win, although I think its more likely SF wins this in 5 or 6 games.

Fox Sports 1... it is a newish channel like ESPN that Fox is trying to get going..

MLB maxed out their payday when they sold the tv rights, but they lost control.. so, Fox was willing to use the 'post season' as a way to build up FS1 and get some viewership... it was good business for Fox, not so great for MLB.

I don't care as I have FS1, but lots of people weren't able to watch the games.

    oh well.

I wish we could watch the games with our local broadcasters... Joe Buck is not a favorite at my house.

I'm rooting for KC, but this particular group of Giants play at a different level than everyone else in the playoffs. There are regular season teams and then there are postseason teams. These Giants are a great postseason team.

    SF in 6 games.

    Got it Randy.

Wow, what a blown opportunity for KC... runners on 2nd and 3rd and nobody out.

    And still down 3-0.

That is more Bumgarner dominating and not willing to give in than blown opportunity... The Royals ARE GOOD.. CAIN and GORDON are beasts... but, Bumgarner is just a big ol rawboned country boy who doesn't know 'back down'

Perez... does things that are fundamentally unsound. Not being automatic in some stuff will lead to weird, bad situations..
