Yes walnut and flame maple. I didn't make it but found a retired guy who dabbled in woodworking who was willing to give it a shot and he did a great job. No stain and I'm not sure if he sealed it. I think it is just a waterlox finish which is I guess a sealer in itself.

My first amp, a Gibson G-20 solid-state amp...the original black Tolex covering was stripped by one of the prior owners.

Nor originally a woodie, and not sure if it fits the strictest form of the definition, especially since it’s (obviously) plywood.

I still own and use it...it has an amazing vibrato/tremolo/whatever.

I added the stickers and the armadillo branding.

I was expecting to see some classic Fords by now. You know, the ones that don't have a back seat or a rear window,
but still take you where you want to go.

Just one pic of my 'Deluxe'. The badge is from an old Ford. Built on a Champ chassis. JBL D112. Mahogany with True Oil. In front of my Mesa MKIIb bubinga/wicker. I should have at least turned it on and backed up a step or two:

I know I don't really belong since this one's off-the-shelf. But, what the hey...

You guys blow me away with your carpentry skills. I wish I could build something that beautiful. Dovetail joints and all that stuff. Talent.

    Thanks.

Not a reissue, per se. It's a Pro Junior they put out in 2006 for Fender's 60th Anniversary.

Me too. Bought the cab from Raw Cabs on ebay. Good quality, and it arrived a couple weeks before expected. I hate having to buy cabinets, but currently no other choice. I have the skill set, but not the wood shop at this time. Maybe next year.

I also built a pine cab for my Vox VT50. It's 12 lbs lighter. I had a friend paint it red. Made it an open back and created a custom speaker label. IMG_20190614_155556370~2.jpg IMG_20190614_155632630~2.jpg PSX_20190714_124737.jpg PSX_20190714_125059.jpg PSX_20190714_125258.jpg

My 6AU6 Princeton 1x12. Got the pine boards at my local lumberyard. Finger jointed and finished with Tru Oil. Has a WGS Green Beret speaker. I leave it at church and gig it a few times a month. Awesome little amp, very happy with it.
