My Schecter Custom Shop PT. I've lusted after these ever since seeing Townshend use 'em on the It's Hard tour.

disregard the squier...although heavily modded so is barely a squier anymore.

The blue is a warmoth I named Carlton (I used to have a bel-air green legacy named Will to accompany it, but traded it for the red ASAT)

Help give me some name options for the ASAT, I'm usually bad at naming guitars.

How 'bout 1/2 Fender? This is my Schecter PT mutt. Like stingxnj, I fell in love with the double-HB, bound-top Schecters after seeing Pete Townsend play his goldtop in the 1983 "Who's Last" (LOL) concert video from Toronto. I owned a real-deal black one, one of the early US production models, from 1984 until about 1989, then foolishly sold it.

This guitar is my re-creation of the lost PT, only I went for goldtop like the one that started the obsession for me. Schecter MIK body, Fender MIM maple neck, Duncan 59 pickups.

BTW, if anybody knows of old US-built black PTs for sale, let me know. I'm looking for my old one and if it shows up, I'll buy it. There's a special detail about mine, so I'll know it when I see it.

Home made Spalted Beech top on Ash Body, with one piece and extremely thick neck made for me by Keith Robbins ( who just happens to be Robin Trowers cousin)
Pickups are a Voodoo 50`s bridge and a Catswhiskers P90 in neck and home made B bender.

2011 Canadian Breed Premium T-Style Guitar, built by Bill Scheltema (TDPRI member) of Palmerston, Ontario, Canada.

    - Double bound sassafrass on polar body
    - 1 piece flame AND birdseye tinted compound radius maple neck with trussrod, side mounted frets to prevent popping, and brass sleeves and bolts for the neck joint to prevent tearout.
    - Custom made AliNico V pickups
    - Top quality hardware included chrome plated brass modern bridge
    - Finished in a blue/black burst

Truly a STUNNING guitar in looks, tone, and playability!! Bill will build you one to your specs at a price about the same as a similar production line guitar!!!

I'm gigging it this weekend in Woodstock, Ontario at the Woodstock Summer Streetfest (guitars AND dozens of vintage cars!!) and on Fri. Sept 2nd at the Burlington Ribfest, Canada's largest ribfest, plus regularly at all Groove Hammer shows (www.groovehammer.ca for more info).

Bill also builds Stage series guitars, unbound, painted or stained, like traditional Fender designs, at an even better price!

Come on out to a Groove Hammer show and check out Bill's blue beauty then order one for yourself - www.canadianbreed.com

    If it's not a Fender, it's not a Telecaster.

That's like asking for pics of a Ford Vette

    What a great quote!

Here's my formerly blonde Jay Turser. Reshaped the headstock (yes, there is enough wood in the right places) and put paisley fabric on the front, back and headstock. Some black spray paint and a bunch of clear and here she is:

Still needs some more clear and sanding.
