I'll get the ball rolling - here's mine:
Sorry...I couldn't get it to work full sized.
Love it - reminds me of the James Burton model:
My SX STL-50. The most recent mod was the P90 in the neck. It's a GFS Alnico P90 rehoused in a non-plated nickel-silver cover from Philadelphia Luthier Supply. A while ago I had upgraded the bridge and electronics and a GFS Repro 50's bridge pickup.
Love it! what is the P-90 like? Does it balance well with the bridge PUP?
It's worked out really good, especially for slide. The metal case and a lower height seems to help it blend better with the bridge pickup. The P90 is around 8.2k and the bridge is about 7.4k so the P90 does dominate in the middle position.
MOdded 50s MIM BSB Baja
Mid 90s MIJ Jerry Donahue model modified into a Nashville-like configuration.
2009 Squier CV Tele modified into an Esquire with a Lollar Supro pickup.
A mid 80s MIJ Custom Tele modified with a Zhangbucker neck pickup and black pickguard.
Just made a thread regarding my John 5 Tele
I no longer own this heavily modified 2006 '69 Thinline Reissue. New pickguard, Lollar Charlie Christian in the neck position, Wilkinson bridge and new tuners. I miss this guitar.
MIM ash body - American Standard neck - Fender 52 Reissue pickups - Gotoh six saddle bridge.
G&L Tribute Blues Boy - Duncan Seth Lover/Jerry Donahue pickups - Gotoh 6 saddle bridge - Elektrix no solder wiring harness - reshaped headstock.
08 American Standard - Warmoth maple/ebony neck
Warmoth Black Korina capped with Bloodwood, Bloodwood neck Canary skunk stripe, Rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90 and neck and bridge pickups.
Warmoth Swamp Ash body, Fender Maple neck, Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90 and tele pickups.
Warmoth Alder body capped with quilted Maple, Warmoth roasted Maple neck Rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan vintage mini humbucker, vintage P90 and Five-Two bridge pickup.
Warmoth Black Korina body, roasted Maple neck, Seymour Duncan vintage P90s and Dimebucker middle pickup.
My other (main) tele is all built from parts so I cant really call it a modded tele.
This one is a 2012 USA standard. All the mods are in the pic.
Fralins stock set, gotoh brass saddles, tort guard and a complete rewire.
Carol (the lizard) is not a mod, shes just being a glamour model.
Meh. Ill add my other one anyway cos it is a ripper of an axe and its been my main workhorse for a few years now:
Warmoth swamp ash body finished in nitro. Warmoth compound radius roasted maple neck, oil finish, jumbo frets. Fralin Blues special 5%/2% overwound set. Gotoh compensated bridge. coolest thing: bakelite pickguard.
