    Thanks, Lunchie. While it's a little more difficult to find good deals on quality mandolins nowadays, there are still some out there. Be patient and they'll eventually pop up. Good luck.

    And here is my Takamine Santa Fe PSF-48C from '96.
    Unbelievable, great sound. (Had to repair the pre-amp.)
    Solid spruce top & rosewood for back and sides.
