Post the best example of delta/country blues you have ever heard. It can be a video. It can be audio. It can be a recording artist. It can be old. It can be new. It can be a guy just playing something on youtube. It can have slide but it's not required.

Looking forward to what is posted.

Both are good but the Robert Johnson version hit just right.

    Everybody keep these coming.

I rarely have a favorite or grade anything by good better best but here's one I've always liked a lot.

Legally Blind Boy Paxton is an outstanding multi-genre and multi-instrumentalist. Barely 30 years old and straight out of Compton.

Blind Willie Johnson - Dark Was The Night Cold Was The Ground - I used to listen to this on a loop, in doses of up to half an hour long....one of the all time great solo pieces of music. Along with J.S. Bachs - Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue played by George Malcolm, (probably the most played record I own) or his Chaconne, from Partita No. 2 in D minor for solo violin ....not so fussy there...maybe Nathan Milstein
