I hear those have a certain "bite" to them, as in they are a little snappy in the hand.

I built up a cadre' of interesting work-related mugs but they are at the studio and I am home. I had some albums mastered at Abbey Road and, of course, the producer snapped up the proprietary "Stolen From Abbey Road" mugs in the mastering suite. My son got me one of these for home as compensation so I'm up there with Ed Driscoll. I use it on weekends to remind myself that the pressure is off.

Posted in error in this forum -- likely because of a distinct lack of caffeine!

I loved Harry Kalas when I lived in the Philly area. I remember coming across Animal Planet's annual Puppy Bowl show one year and thought it was hilarious he was the announcer.

My cup... this industry is hard hit right now, we design and engineer theme park rides.
I am thankful... we are halfway through updating the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride in Orlando with new robotics, and gosh willing I will go to Hollywood to update that venue.
Many in this industry have lost their jobs lately.

I'm told the Manx GP is just as good a show as the TT with fewer crowds etc.

    Here's another of my favourites:

Sadly my motorcycling days are over now, but I still have my Royal Enfield Bullet (made in India, but none the worse for that) in the garage.

My wife worked as a instructor while she was in grad school. One semester she had a football player in her class that won a scholar-athlete award and was supposed to name his favourite/best professor/instructor. He picked my wife and she got to go to a nice banquet and got some cool swag including this mug!

That was almost 20 years ago. The red on the cardinal and brown on the football have faded, but my pride in her never has.
