Thank you very much! It's a nitrocellulose lacquer ash body that was relic'd and weathered a bit. It started off with a white guard and with nickel/chrome tuners, but I ended up finding some white button Kluson tuners that go really well with it. And I found a single-ply cream pickguard that I modified to fit a Strat neck pickup.

Here's mine. The first picture is a little more yellow than it really is.

    .

I'm going to ruing the rules on a couple of fronts ... they are just guidelines right? I have no Teles in that color, only Strats in close colors. But the color theme is what you are really looking for.

Natural wear and tear on an approaching twenty year old Oly white Strat. It has some paint chips.

Artificial relic done by many prior owners and I fixed the wonky frets with a level job so it plays and fixed the really bad relic stuff so it feels right. Now it plays easy and sounds massive. If you've never owned a relic, you should try it some time. It frees the soul from worry so you can just play the guitar. It wasn't until I had this guitar that I understood the attraction of a relic guitar.

Wow! What great translucent white-ish finishes! Those are by far my favorite on Fender-style guitars. Personally, I don't mind not seeing any chalk paint. I know that stuff. No thanks! Give me more of those "ash while blond" finishes like the professor's! That look is as beautiful as it gets while being as simple and bling-free as it gets. Nothing better, IMO.

This started out as a classic vibe 50s vintage blonde but has yellowed considerably since I purchased it from new in 2013.
As you can see, it's also been heavily modified!

Thank you. They're Seymour Duncan antiquity minis and sound great. The bridge still sounds very tele ish, just takes the brightness that the strat neck with ebony board brought to the guitar
