    Believe me, I have seen that a hundred times at my front window!! I had to quit throwing corn to them, they would be on the front porch. Surprised they never figured out the doorbell,,,

    It's way off the beaten path but I found it pretty impressive to visit. In the grand scheme of things it's not even that big of an impact crater but it still made me feel small!

    I gave my daughter the choice between Meteor Crater and Riordan Mansion. She's kind of a science geek, so she picked the crater. It was fun, but very warm (about 90 degrees at 10 in the morning).

    I wouldn't make it a destination, but if you are in the Flagstaff area, it's one of many places you can see, such as Sunset Crater, Walnut Canyon, Wupatki, Snow Bowl, Grand Falls.
