Apparently, it's a 1966 prototype from Fender's experimental era.

Love the look of the Jazzmaster headstock with Mustang Vibrato on a thinline Tele. I particularly like the shape of the F-holes, I think I prefer these to the standard ones.

IMO, this is one hell of a cool Guitar. It's so unusual that I thought I would post here for others to appreciate it

'Hey, Leo. Whaddya want me to do with all these spare parts in this dumpster?'

Very interesting. Fender never wasted anything, but the original body must have been an early Rossmeisl design with the f-holes reversed so they are less 'Rickyish'.

Very interesting! Looks like one of those wildwood finishes as used on the Coronados a couple of years later.

The body finish reminds me of some of the "art" rustwork done with various acids on some rat-rods.

Pretty cool indeed!

Wow. Not a thinline guy, but would gladly open up the checkbook for that one.

Interesting, but definitely not for me...wrong headstock, block inlays, that finish...any one of these would take this one off my list, but all three on one Tele pushes it WAY over my edge!

I like the colour and the finish - almost as if the guitar had been pulled out of a moor or was covered with some moss
