    It’s not necessarily a PAF humbucker that is being made, it’s just the same principle as a humbucker. Additionally, I would assume the the type of pickup directly relates to the humbucking sound as well.

    I really like the sound of two pickups, but I prefer 3-Way-Switches.

    My first Tele is wired like this:
    1. Bridge
    2. Neck+Bridge in series
    3. Neck

    I'm planning to wire my second Tele with a 3-Way-Switch and two S-1-Switches, because it's really strange for me to have a 4-Way-Switch

    Question about the 4-way wiring.

    Could you wire it so that the tone knob is out of the circuit for the 4th (bucker) position?

    My 4th position is wired like the Baja in series. I agree with SixStringSlinger, it's not a pure humbucker but certainly in that neighborhood. I think it's very useful and can't imagine having a Tele without it. More colors for the pallet.
