I only made the body. USA Custom made the neck.
Beautiful guitar! And a great pic, too!
More pictures would be cool also!
We need to get you a matching metal switchtip, then she'd be untouchable. :^)
Thanks. Yes, the switch tip is not fantastic. It does match the tuner knobs, as you can't see. Boris, is there a source for metal tips, or do I need to fabricate something?
Wow that thing is sweet. Almost looks like it should have some spurs on it...
Maybe a spur switchtip?
Beauty! Love the leather work!
You know what the first tune you gotta play is right?
Very nice, looks great! What kind of metal is the control plate & knobs? Brass, aged nickel,...?
Man oh man that's a beaut! That's the real mccoy right there. It would take a better man (player) than me to strap that guitar on and do it justice!
yeah, nice leather
I love it! did you route a channel for the leather in the binding area? can you tell me what you did...I'd love to steal that idea! great job!
that's a nice lookn' body !
Sweet! Ride 'em cowboy!
Nice work, ZT. Very reminiscent of a Gretsch Roundup with the tooled leather & brass tacks around the edge. Perhaps an 'F' brand for the top next...
... or perhaps not...
Thanks, G and everyone else. The Gretsch Roundup was the inspiration. I have always wanted a Roundup, but they are a bit too pricey for me.
Here's a source for metal switch tips, other cool stuff, too.
Very nice! Congratulations.
Wow! that came out real nice
Can you play the theme to "Bonanza" on it?
