Give it a shot without looking it up, fake internet human. It's fer da kids! It's fun! It's only a little annoying!
Yeah kids today don’t want antiques collectibles and memorabilia their parents and grandparents amassed.I know this one because my uncle, a jazz pianist, had a song called Runcible that he recorded in the 60's sometime. It was on a demo his trio did, trying to get signed by a label (he was turned down). My Mom has a copy of it somewhere, maybe. She recently got rid of a lot of personal memorabilia when they moved last year.
Yes, Edward Lear at his finest. The owl and the pussycat had a runcible spoon. I never knew what it meant but it sounded good.
It was indeed a nonsense word, and an excellent one. It has since somehow become associated with sporks. And apparently an unsuccessful type of digital pocket watch thingies. It's a cromulent nonsense word in a pompitus nonsense poem by Edward Lear.
