    Hi.

If I stay put on the first page (far as I've gotten), I'm going to go with @wacolo & post #9.

If we are talking electric, hands down it is the 1963 Firebird V. They suck to play and why I don't have one, but it puts the rest of the production electrics on a lower playing field ... aesthetically speaking. Bravo, Ray Dietrich. IMG_4942.PNG

I’m super partial to Stratocaster’s. I think they are perhaps the most beautiful guitar ever imagined. That said, I have an Ibanez problem and I often run back to my first love, the Ibanez semi-hollowbody.

I get that you're doing this "just for fun" and that there are "no wrong answers." But there is a disparity of wording between the thread and poll title and your wording in your OP: "the best looking guitar" vs. "your most aesthetically pleasing instrument.

As for the former, I'm hard pressed to say what's best. I just love the look of guitars, many different kinds of guitars: LPs, 335s, and full on hollowbodies (L5s, 175s, et al.) really appeal to me. But also the classic dreadnought. And of course, the tele. Speaking of which...

    My most aesthetically pleasing instrument...

I saw a Westbury/Matsumoku that beat out the original Ibanez Iceman... I haven’t seen one again or I’d own it.

I was also there to witness the red 10 string B.C. Rich Bich that Joe Perry played live in the late 70’s. He couldn’t play his own solo’s, but damn what a guitar he wielded! Contender for most beautiful.

The one that always caught my eye was the full bodied Rickenbacker of 59-60

I own a Ric 360/12v64 and a ‘67 Gretsch 6122 but the 360/370/375F family is the perfect mix.

Production numbers are very low and when they came up for sale they were a lot less than same era Fenders, but I never pulled the trigger. I don’t think of my self as a proper collector or player to need to own one.
