Wow, a lot of good players hanging out here!
Most recordings I have a very old, but here's a cell phone clip of me playing with my trio at a gig about a month ago. It's the end of a cover of Derek and The Dominoes' Got To Get Better in a Little While. I posted it in a different thread a couple of weeks ago. If you want to skip over my singing, go to 1:30 on the clip. ;)

Good or bad? You decide. The first one is more recent and represents my current approach, which is not to stress about things. The second two date from before I had kids and could spend months working on a single tune.

SoundClick unfortunately will continue and play the entire list of tunes up there after the linked tune finishes. I suggest you stop at the end of each one and just listen to these:

This post ought to be made a sticky,so the condescending, sniping members read and perhaps comprehend the spirit of participation and enjoyment, the very building blocks of a community are what matters. Not the standoffish, laughing from the gallery behaviour which is self serving and destructive for this forum.

One of the most accomplished players on this forum. Always great to hear. Rob's pickups are truly great.

Dude, so sorry to hear of your injury. Beautiful guitar!! You will make more in the future!!
BTW, I totally share your passion of aviation history. Some of the coolest ‘poast’ on TDPRI!

I'm always up for praising Rob and his Cavalier pickups,so in the spirit of such, this is a track which couldn't hold a candle to the skills of 4pickupguy,but uses Rob's work in a home build Tele.

I don't record any videos, but I have some from friends, etc; here's something on YouTube from a benefit concert - this was 2016, but it 's an annual deal. Lot of crowd noise...

I do record some stuff using GarageBand, some of it to play along with the weekly backing track posted right here on TDPRI in the Twanger Central sub-forum thing. This here is just a song I did for me grandsons...

Wow! Really like these, Brobar! Just beautifully rendered. I have that same set of Cavs in my number 1 tele. They are magnificent too. Keep it coming...and God bless!

This is something I recorded in hotel rooms on a business trip to Colorado and California a few years ago — it’s all me, just my old Variax 600 (sold a year or so ago now) doing all the guitars, the bass is played on the iPad, the drummer is one of the GarageBand built-in drummers. In this case I set myself the challenge of creating something in 3/4 time in the key of Eb...

You'd think so, wouldn't you? But the old romantic is like ''Hmmm... I do like it, but I think the drums are too loud"

Nocaster in the bridge, which is what you hear for most of the track and a Lioness in the neck. The guitar is a home made partscaster. I love Rob's work,I have a fat lion in the bridge of my Strat and man,it rocks my boat!
