Great stuff here so far and a really cool thread this is turning into! I would rather hear people's playing than argue about what drive petal to buy! Keep sharing and thanks to everyone who added something. Cool to put playing with the screen names! This is what guitar playing is about.

Here's our band doing Gimme Shelter.

Sorry for the lousy cell phone video.

I'm on the far left in the shadows, playing rhythm.

Charity gig, we did for free.

Here is one I did to demonstrate the sound of a Vibrolux Custom, the one everybody seems to hate, after I put a lower gain tube in the preamp. I don't remember the exact tube anymore. It really produced a great result. All guitar parts are that amp close mic'ed with a Sure 57. There was no post processing done. The song was just something I made up on the spot.

I've been working on my slide playing (aka strangling cats) a lot over the past few years...

A little paint can diddly bow action...

"Why can't you play something I like?"

"But, dear, I can't play EDM on guitar."

I don't think I've ever posted any of my playing here before, so what the hell. Here are a couple clips of me just jamming with myself several months ago (with the help of my looper). When I was young I used to play in rock bands and rock out. Now I mostly just play slow and mellow stuff. And I don't worry about the occasional clam, so there are a few in these. The first one is an approximation of Sugaree and the other one is just a really mellow blues. I don't have any chops, I know basically two scales and they're the same scale in a different place. I'm extremely limited but I enjoy what I do within those limits. So, here you go... Sometimes I sit down and sing with my acoustic, but those will NEVER see the light of day because while I'm not much of a player, I'm about 1000 times better player than singer. But generally I don't do songs and don't work on parts. I just play...

Here's another one just fooling around doing mistakes. Let's keep sharing - funny that the people disparaging teh thread don't want to poast anything. Everyone should join in and learn from each other. Some great stuff so far!!111!!

Did I detect a Duane Allman influence? Very nice job. The ragtime work on the acoustic in the previous vid was quite enjoyable too.

If you do that's quite a compliment. I love the Allman Bros. Thanks!

I like this thread, my youtube clips have had the audio blocked due to copyright infringement. There should be a limitation on the time record companies milk song royalties for imo. The covers I have up were from songs recorded over 40 years ago.

Found a couple I did 7 years ago to test a pocket pod that might still work.

OK, this is what I could find: last year I filled in on lead with some pals of mine who have a Bon Scott-era AC/DC cover band called Big Balls. A lotta fun...I've been a fan since I saw them blow Aerosmith off the stage back in '78, so it was cool to get to play this.

I'm no Angus, but I tried...
