I'm told on a daily basis here that I'm not a good guitar player. I am the first one to say that I'll always be glad to be the worst because the way to get better is by listening to, watching and taking advice from people that are better!

That being said, it's also good to share stuff you're working on so in this thread we will poast some of our playing and maybe talk about our influences and what we do to get better!1!!

Anyways, here is me messing around on a guitar part. Probably would have helped had I tuned up b4 I started!11~!

Here is an acoustic thingy I'm working on that I can't really play that g0od!11~1

Really hoping you don’t feel this way, man.

I’ll listen to the clips later and give feedback.

It's cool! The thing about fiddle playing is that it's not about being the best guy, it's about working the hardest with what you've got!

Anyone can throw insults around behind a screen name, which is why I use my real name and face but but let's share our playing to get some cool feedback and ideas from each other!

Here's a tip, change the title of this thread. People tend to take you more seriously if you don't confuse "You're" (as in you are) with "Your" (you own it it's yours)

    Anyway.

That’s a super cool fiddle! It looks like a BC Rich meets a Ric! Nice job on the DS toon! John Isley actually follows my Instantgram channel.

    Screamin' Armadillos in 2012.

We played my college graduation party, reuniting for the first time in 4 years. Seated dude playing the sunburst Strat was recovering from a stroke and this was his first performance since that incident. A couple of us are wearing tan shorts in honor of Noah330. My shorts have hundreds of little armadillos embroidered on them, because I have no fashion sense. It was 104 degrees F and humid.

I'm singing and playing harp. Video shot by drummer's wife and edited by drummer.

Same party...first live performance with the 1983 G&L Nighthawk that I had recently acquired (my graduation present to myself). I sold it a couple of years later. I have no idea what the bassist was doing, nor did he. Kenny (big guy with red Strat) had not played with us for 6 years at this point.

We are not great. We had fun. I lost 5 pounds sweating, but ate 6 pounds of BBQ.

That’s cool. I like your delay sound. I don’t know much about that stuff!

Here's a clip of my country band, playing a local food bank benefit where each band plays a few Dylan tunes on the backline. I have a couple solos. Standing between the accordion and fiddle.

Here's that same band a different night doing one of our originals that I wrote (and sing).

Here's another original that we wrote. I'm playing lap steel - through an Orange! Simple little solo in the middle about 2:30.

Another original, again on lap steel. Different singer.

Here's a fan video of my punk band Floor Model. Two songs in under 5 minutes. Bass player had to work but we rocked anyway. I'm right next to the camera in the hat. I don't think it's a blooze hat but I might be wrong. I have a vision issue that makes stage lights uncomfortable so I usually wear a hat when playing.

Oh, here's another Floor Model original. This time with bass player. I'm on the Tele, standing farthest from the camera. Next to the freak show in the mask (who stayed in costume the entire time). Some fun solos in this one. And some dancing by the masked man as the song progresses.

That's probably too many. Sorry. Fun walk down memory lane.

Here is me acoustic, late one night with a few whiskeys (I'm sure). I guess it's kind of a Lightnin' Hopkins type thing.
