We used to have a mod from Wales. The Wale ate him. As a matter of fact, every time we’ve tried to have a non-US mod, they were eaten by some animal native to their own apartment complex. Ok, one was lost in a terrible knitting accident, but all the others have been eaten. It was therefore determined that for the safety of our members, mods would only be US members. It’s not a hard and fast rule. Just a general safety policy. At this point, we might chance another non-American mod, but there would definitely be waivers to sign. We can’t just throw that kind of liability around all willy-nilly. And really, who wants to risk being eaten just for the opportunity to say they’re a TDPRI moderator? Is it really worth it? I hear they don’t even get the $30 Olive Garden gift cards that all the other members get for every 1000 posts.

    LOL too funny! :D

@Jakedog If you recall, I met you too back in 2015, when you toured through Houston playing bass for Mary Cutrufello. Every time I hear the Dire Straits song Money For Nothing I think of you that night.

Maybe get a blister on your little finger
Maybe get a blister on your thumb

Because you sure had a nasty blister that night, soaking it in a glass of ice water. Good times!

Hope our paths can cross again someday... cheers!

Totally remember. That’s what I get for not playing bass for over a year and jumping right into a tour. Lol!

You aren't qualified. You don't know the difference between hippy chicks and Hippie chicks!

Hope I'm not breaking a forum rule by spelling it out, but I was referring to... The Dave Clark Five. I can't think of a more important policy stance for a prospective moderator.

Sure. There’s no reason Hippie chicks can’t be hippy chicks.

I learned something. I thought moderators were appointed, not elected. I rescind my vote. :)

The real question is are hippy Hippie chicks (or slender Hippie chicks) necessarily hip chicks?
And what about dippy Hippie chicks, and dippy hippy chicks, and dippy hippy Hippie chicks?
