I just picked up an Classic Series '69 Thinline mahogany from 1998 off Craigslist for about the price of a normal MIM standard. Couldn't pass it up. The neck is great

One of these are going to be my next build. I am gradually compiling the parts as we speak, but I am going to have a different twist as it comes to the body.

Thank you. It’s a home brew version of an Alumitone. I was going for a jazz sound.

So many lovely thinlines here. Had to part with this 72 RI since humbuckers don't do it for me, but was super light and a dream to play overall.

I haven't been able to verify the origin or date of the body or most parts but the neck heel is stamped May '72.

Here is my Warmoth thinline build.
    IMG_0199.JPG IMG_0200-2.JPG IMG_0202.JPG IMG_0230-2.JPG
Padouk capped Black Korina, roasted Maple neck, stainless steel frets, Bill Lawrence neck pickup, Seymour Duncan Vintage P90 middle and SD Jerry Donahue bridge pickup. I ordered the body without the F-hole and added my own lightning bolt sound hole.
