It's a partscaster I built many years ago.
MJ reliced body,Warmoth neck and Tim Let Claire pickups.

Yes the Gotoh bridge is my preference I much prefer it over the vintage bridge for sound and intonation.

damn that is cool, i love that! did you make the pickguard? looks like the pickguard i need, the control cavity is big on my body, a standard pickguard doesn't cover it. where did you get that guard? and if the one i am getting made is not right can you make me one? awesome guitar

Ha! Thanks, I did make the pick guard.
It's also got a large cut out under there.
Guess I've tried my share of neck pickups.

Works best to have the guitar on hand.
That way you can get the template right for routing the guard.

This one is a Tribute and I've done a lot of mods to it. It now has Seth lover neck and Jerry Donahue bridge pickups, upgraded electronics and a Gotoh bridge but I didn't need to mess with the frets other than to polish the ends a bit which I generally do anyway.

Always loved them too - here's my '72 original and late 90s reissue that I put a boatneck on - didn't like the shoulders on the 90s neck. 20190314_095028.jpg
