Congratulations on the anniversary of your life sentence!
Have you seen the new Japanese Thinlines?
yeah i have been looking for a very long time, but i am a single coil fan, wish they would just make them dang it! hence why i have made my own.
Oh man, I dream of finding a Cabronita exactly like that!
Well Happy Birthday young’un !
my mum is 77 and she looks 50! must be the dancing around the kitchen to rock n roll that keeps her young? i guess you are as old as you feel. thank you sir!
Cool. I was a decade out just thinking about my own misfired shots at fame.... I'm just an old git
Peter Frampton Tribute Thinline
haha! well i feel more like an old git every day!
"do you feel like i do?"
wow that is crazy! in a good way.
I’m a lefty so here’s my MIJ sunburst but I just like you adore them and have just bought this ‘beauty’ of questionable heritage
Not too sure what she is going to actually be when she arrives tomorrow but I love the way she looks no matter what
I’m confident some of her is genuine but she’s likely had a bit of Botox and a boob job in her day. Will keep you posted on that one but she’s a hell of a looker for an old dame
Here’s mine...it’s a bit “different”...

the white one is gorgeous!
Here you go...
you must have put that switch there right? very brave to drill through the finish, glad you got no chip out!
oh that is so cool, i love everything about it! is it vintage? or a relic? looks vintage, and did you put a modern bridge on there?
No, that’s the way those were constructed. It was a part of the “Modern Player” series, which shared some characteristics with the newer “Alternate Reality” series—weird combination of a few different models with different pickups. This is a combination of a ‘72 Thinline (Thinline body, larger pickguard), a ‘70s Deluxe (two volume, two tone, hardtail Strat bridge, three-way switch on upper bout of guitar body) and two MP-90 pickups (kinda rare for a Fender).
Overall, I like the guitar but I don’t absolutely love it. It gives me some sounds I don’t get out of my main Telecaster, but the MP-90 pickups aren’t as inspiring as other P-90’s (my favorite pickup, of which I have four guitars with different brands/variations of P-90, not including this one), and I’m not totally enameled with the “feel” of the guitar, due to the way the 22-fret Modern Player neck joins the body...I love the looks and the weight, but this one may hit the auction block at some time in the future, to fund something I LOVE instead of “like.”
