What is this? Is it some kind of 19th century campfire stove? It's made out of cast iron. Is it just for decoration or does it serve a purpose. If you know anything just let me know. Thank you.

Of course I researched and tried to find something but I can't find nothing. Probably because I don't know what it's called.

Since the fire door, ash door and chimney are fake, I'd say it's just a decorative copy of an old iron stove. Use it to hold a plant on the patio.

    That.

It looks like an oriental wood burning stove, but the body appears to be cast in one piece and there's no flue.

So no way to fuel it, and no way for the smoke to exit if you could fuel it.

Pot Belly Stove. But as has been said I think this one is more decoration than functional.

Yeah it's a little decorative cast iron pot belly stove. The word decorative is what I was leaving from my search. Added that word and boom I found it easy. Thank you for all the replies.

cast iron wood stove - some of them vented from a horizontal flue out the back, some from the port you see on top there - from the pictures you've posted can't quite figure what has happened to yours.

I'm old enough that some of the cabins I stayed in as a youth had such a device - and as a youth, your first job in the morning was to go out and fetch some wood for the stove.

Here's a typical photo and a link on how to refurbish.

...looking at your photos again, maybe yours is a mini-version. With the real ones, the top was about waist high. Looks like yours might be about 2 feet high or so.

Looks like a toy or decoration not a real stove.

From the Victorian era onwards the Chinese manufactured lots of furniture and decorative items that were designed and made exclusively for the Western market. This seems to fall within that.

If it did have a functional purpose, perhaps as an incense burner?

Maybe the old timey realtors used it on their listings so they could say the dwelling has a stove.

Yeah mines only about 16". So don't really know what purpose it would have except decoration.
