XenForo's built-in "Spam Cleaner" is often the most effective way to mass-delete a user's content. While its primary purpose is spam, it can be configured to delete content from any user.
* Accessing the Spam Cleaner:
* Go to your Admin Control Panel (ACP).
* Navigate to "Users" -> "Find Users" or search for the user directly.
* On the user's profile in the ACP, you should see a "Spam" link or option (sometimes under a "Moderator Tools" menu).
* Configuring Spam Cleaner User Criteria (Important!):
* Before using it, you might need to adjust the "Spam Cleaner User Criteria" in your ACP options. Go to ACP > Setup > Options > Spam management.
* Temporarily set the "Maximum message count," "Maximum days since registration," and "Maximum likes received" to 0. This will make the spam cleaner available for virtually any user, regardless of their activity. Remember to change these back after you're done!
* Executing the Spam Cleaner:
* Once the criteria are set, go back to the user's profile in the ACP and click the "Spam" link.

I can't imagine what I have to lose in this scenario.

Then it won't matter either way, and "the internet never forgets". Forum members will, probably, so just don't worry about it. If you want out, just leave. You can always come back.

If you've said something you regret, apologize and more on.

Whatever the problem, I hope it works out.

Even IF TDPRI could totally eradicate your forum presence here and now, your previous posts are still likely all over the interweb in one form or another. It doesn't mean anything malicious will become of it, but it is out there. When I do a GooGoo search of my professional name, I get returns that are ancient - from professional school to early practice locations. That data gets shared by basically anyone who will pay for it, and it never gets updated or corrected. People cross-posting your posts into other forums also spreads them around and makes it nearly impossible to clean up. Asia probably has every post and email you ever sent.

So, you better watch out! Careful what you post ANYWHERE. Martians may be listening.

It's a good idea to never post anything you wouldn't want your grandma to read

I think another likely source of regret is someone realizing they've provided free content to someone they don't deem worthy of their charity.

The most monetarily valuable content on this site is likely something said ten or more years ago by someone who's dead now, that still shows up in the most google searches.

Nope, that's not it.

Moderators here got too heavy handed for my liking. I would like my posts removed because I don't participate in forums where I feel moderation oversteps their authority (which is just my take on it, not a fact). I would like the content I posted here removed, for my own reasons which have nothing to do with regret about my actions, and have everything to do with moderation actions.

FWIW, I seriously doubt anything will be removed. That way the moderators csn feel they maintained some kind of control and some level of power. Moderators love that.

I have been put in the penalty box more here, over the years, than anybody I know.

But I love the tdpri friends that I have here, and I appreciate the community spirit of sharing information and ideas.
So I put up with the occasional brick bat blow to my knee caps, and the periodic month-long exile on Bane Street.

Some would argue that I deserve worse, by the way.
But that's okay.

I simply endeavor to avoid posting things that might even be possibly construed in a way that offends certain people's sensitivities.

And we persevere and coexist.

OK, I get that. I've had similar issues (not here but elsewhere) and see where you're coming from. But as mentioned by me and others above, all the stuff you've posted will stay somewhere on the 'net, like it or not, whether or not it gets deleted from this site. If you've had enough of the site, just turn the other cheek then walk away.
