I can’t afford to be the guinea pig right now.
Live near a university, by chance? Should be plenty of plasma donation clinics and medical research companies, that will PAY you to be a guinea pig! Put your extra dough toward that brand spanking new Tone Master!
When there’s a will, there’s a way! When one door is shut, another is opened! Wherever you go, there you are! Remember who you are (and don’t let it get you down!). And several other motivational phrases! You can thank me later!
Thanks @Whatizitman! Order placed.
They’ll be available on CL about 6 months after they are commonly available.
Usually for about 1/2 the new price.
I’m with ya’, I”ll get one early next year, probably.
I'm looking forward to trying one out when they hit the stores.
I received a Tone Master Twin this morning. My brief run through suggests they nailed it. Sounds like tubes, operates like tubes, tremolo is great, reverb is great, feels like playing an old Twin. And I mean a vintage one, not the reissues. Gotta put more hours on it but getting a nice overdrive Twin sound at a reasonable volume is fantastic fun. This will be a dream gigging amp by the looks of it.
Thanks for the review.
I can hardly wait to try the Twin.
I have a feeling this is going to be the amp,I've patiently been waiting for.
Have you run any overdrive pedals through it yet?
I owned a JBL Twin in the early 70s. It makes a great bedroom amp. Too heavy to move.
I use the present tense because in the 70s I could move it, but now at 67 I don't think I'd put up with the hassle.
I want one of these Twins bad. I've got a 68 Drip Edge Twin with Weber Calis, but (I can't believe I'm saying it) It's too heavy for me these days.
