    Welcome aboard from Sunny Arizona!!!

Creamsicle G&L ASAT should be AWESOME...- I’m often tempted by the Tribute Bluesboy!!! (Haven’t pulled trigger yet).

Yes to the Mustang I amp- lots of tones- great loud or soft, and pretty easy to use- I don’t bother with the software etc. I can get the tones I usually like just fiddling around with it stock.
For travel, grab a Vox AmPlug headphone amp- you can get a 2W 3” “cab” to go with it for portable sounds-

I got the “Blues” version AmPlug- has clean, slight grit, and gritty overdrive, as well as three onboard effects- Chorus, reverb and delay.
Again- welcome and hats off to your journey of awesomeness!!
Here is my Vox mini-stack with my other tiny amps! They are pretty cool and sound better than you would think!!

I managed to pick up Fender Champ 600 reissue. Although I did fall in love with the sound of a fender 59 Bassman. I figured I would not make enemies of the neighbors while I am learning to play. Looks like the little Fender Champ will do everything I need right now one knob very simple and besides that it's that tube sound.

"Have you been lurking for a long, long time?"

Rotfl, that exchange reads like the opening lines of a chapter in a romance novel

@Dismalhead beat me to the punch line.

Which quadrant of "upstate NY" are you from? We used to go to Ellicottville (an hour south of Buffalo) every year for a get together, before things shut down.

    Welcome!

Welcome from another upstate NYer. Our winters here certainly provide enough encouragement to stay indoors and practice guitar! Have fun and enjoy the experience.

It’s always a pleasure to welcome a fellow lefty! I had an ASAT Tribute. Great choice! I miss those pickups, they’re really more rock and roll than twang.

Too bad he doesn’t like local to me. I have a Mustang 1 that I would give him. Not that I don’t like it, but just got a GTX50 so don’t really have any use for it now.
