Thanks, Steve! The BSB Tele is such a historical icon for the Tele, and mine is just 7.4 pounds; I don't think I've ever had one lighter. :)

The chart? What chart? Only kidding. ;-) Actually, someone else here had developed a much more comprehensive chart, so I stopped updating ours.

Yikes! I don't know how you do it, Steve.

We've had a wet, but mild winter, here in NC, but we're in the 50s now! ;-)

That IS a real life photo, dude! THAT'S my actual Tele.

Sweetwater DOES that (posts actual photos and weight, so you know what you're buying), which is why I like to get my Tele's from them.

I love the player series Tele HH pickups so much in mine, that I’m also planning a player series Tele SS purchase. I just played one at GC yesterday. Really sweet tones! The sparkle from the bridge pu was awesome. Bright, but definitely not harsh.

Really sweet tones on the Player Series SS Tele? Great news; can't wait to play mine!

Bright, sparkly bridge p'up has got my interest, too.

    Thanks for sharing!

About to change out the pickups on my Tidepool Single Coil Player Tele. The pickups really didn't do it for me.

I did a couple of vids with my Tele. First a demo and review and then a Mod video.

I keep going back and forth about how I feel about them. They're certainly better than the stock Strat MIM pickups, but I feel like the guitar would sound better with another pickup set. The thing for me is that they're not bad enough for me to really want to spend the money on a better set, but I still wish they were a little better!

Liked your playing. Bad video quality mate, colour looks different than other videos. Weird, maybe just lights or darkness?

Thanks! Still working on the production side of my vids. Thinking about getting some studio lights. Feedback is important. I appreciate it!

Bad news, Telephytes. My Player Series BSB Tele is headed back to Sweetwater today. :(

Turns out that when I tried to adjust the relief, I could only get the truss rod wrench to move a few full turns in either direction, and the relief never changed!

I DID plug it in and thought the pickups were uninspiring, but perhaps it was the setup and not the pickups. :(

I got this for my birthday today. So far I’m digging it! Funny, up until a few months ago I never cared enough for how a tele looked to even try one out. I think the headstock mostly put me off. Maybe joining the TDPRI page got me hooked? Anyway, loving the guitar! For whatever changed my mind I’m glad it did.
