The second, and especially third films in the series were a bit underwhelming, so I think I'll wait for a DVD release.

Johnny Depp was great in all three, though.

I've seen it. The second and third films were torture. This one is fun, if a bit too long like the others. Depp probably has some of his best lines of the series.

Second one was just OK for me. The third one amazed me by being utterly tedious despite the non-stop action. How did they accomplish that?!

I'll wait for the DVD...

For some reason I feel that I should not have to pay to watch a Disney ad.
Silly of me, I know.

at any rate, I have not felt the need to see a movie in a theater since Three Kings.
For me to go to a theater I have to believe that I am going to see a Movie, rather than a 90 minute TV special on the big screen.
A good movie deserves a good house, if the film isn't big enough to entice me to take a train into The City to see it at The Ziegfeld, I can wait for it to come to the small screen.

Totally turning me off was the big whirlpool broadside firing segment in I don't know the 3rd one? was it the 2nd one?

Kinda like Transformers. I mean, I grew up on them, I want to see more proper early 90s block style transforming, not those sublimic metal movement. And it was all robot groans and bash booms. I fell asleep on my date's shoulder while being tired out from Army basic. I was in 'love' with her for a year and a half.

Last date, yep. But met someone else thats perfect for me further on down the road.

Wait where was I... yes, Johnny Depp, he's a good looking mutha....

I never thought Keira whateverhernameis was attractive. Sorry.

the third movie was so confusing it was almost unbearably boring, in spite of constant action and zillion dollar effects. In contrast to the first movie, which was excellent all around.

Sure, the wife wants to go see it. Just to drool over Johnny Depp. I guess thats alright, I told her she can even pretend I'm him a couple of hours later

Doesn't this one have Penelope Cruz in it?

Yes. I think she's a little funny looking, but while I was watching the film, I kept thinking, Mmm... there's just something about her that makes me want to take her and... uh... tap that booty.

I'm gonna see it tonight at 9:40 at the Grand in Alexandria. I'll be sure and report when I get back or in the a.m.
