Hey Varakeef ! I print directly over the sparkle adhesive, and then, stick it to the guitar body... It's just one layer, not two.
The self-adhesive is very thin, ideal to our purpose!

    Up !!!

Just to don't let the thread dies!

I had problems with my printing shop, so that's why I didn't post new pictures yet. The print shop solved my problem so shortly, new pictures.

For now, my first baby in action:

    Blue Sparkle Sample

Well, that's the sparkle adhesive I got, and finally, the print shop gave me a printed sample.... What do you think? Should I print more on this sparkle?

    Nice colour.

I think you miss some of the pattern in between the paisleys, there's quite a lot of white there.

Is that made by copying one pattern and then flipping and turning it around in four different positions? If you look closely at the original, youl notice that all four are slightly different, especially the outer leaves.

That was my thought too, to much white. I def have more than one pattern on it but i need to take another look at whats going on between the paisleys and the leaves and flowers that are on the edge. My trial version of Photoshop ran out so i gotta download the new version. Just a FYI for everyone, once you get the design you want put it on a PDF and take it to either a print shop or Staples. They printed mine out for 14 dollars a sheet on photo paper laminated. A print shop quoted me 30 dollars per sheet printed on clear transparency.

That's a good start point! And the prices are good also, because here in Brazil it's kind expensive to print the paisleys... You just need to find a good adhesive/paper to print on ! Keep the good job man

It's 19:06 here in São Paulo... I'll have a show tonight, so I need to hury up, but tomorrow I'll upload more pictures for you guys...

    See ya,
    Rafa

    Very nice indeed!

Does the ink move or dissolve with the solvents in the clear? In other words, is it colorfast?"

I am really liking that blue.

    Cheers!

    Hey Steve!

I'm glad you liked it... Answering your question: NO... The ink does not dissolve with the solvents... It's the same ink I've used on the previous black and pink paisleys I've made!

    Se ya,
    Rafa
