    the song and its production are both stellar. brings me back to my final year of college, when i first got into these guys. PiL was (in)famously investigated by some element of the UK intelligence services.

    I believe this is one of their first songs from '78 , I never heard them do another song quite like this...almost a Cult,early Who, Byrds,Stone Roses sound..straight up rawk..Keith Levene on guitar and Jah Wobble on bass.

    Keith Levine influenced Edge in U2 , and the Cult "she sells sanctuary" wasn't even around when he recorded this.
    He's a true original just like John Lydon!
    I had the single when it came out in England, it was a 45 wrapped in a newspaper kind of thing.
    Ah memories!

    I'm aware that Levene was around before U2 and the Cult,etc. just saying, but thanks for pointing that out.
